The sky has cleared after the heavy rain and the cool pale evening fades quitely into the night. I sip up my calm and take a stand. Contumacious heart of mine, its time we move on. I know this pang of emotion seem to stretch out a vast hand at times but, its ok. Let this not debilitate the fabric of life. You say, you quit or conquer, haven't you conquered already? The path was untrodden. You have left a trail too. Now what more? If you don't stand for yourself who will stand for you?
You played fair; three cheers to you! We have learnt, gained, matured, thought, reflected and now lets act. Join me in the project called 'self reconstruction'. Clinging to an ephemeral bliss is what you and I are doing and this is the greatest mirage of all. Let us stop playing truant to real happiness. It's knocking at the door, we just have to reach out.
Baby, no more eyes wide shut. Lets look for more trust, less try, more laugh, less cry and do away with the undeserving.
Goodnight and sleep tight!

"I sip up my calm and take a stand. Contumacious heart of mine, its time we move on." -- words that speak volumes.
Danke. The attention is well deserved. :)
The rain was heavy that night, it started off with the slight uncertain droplets, caressing against the walls of the city, teasing at every corners looking for the spot where it can lambast its built. The clouds did opened their skirts wide and and the walls jittery as a June bug, was more awaiting and accepting; the rain kissing against them again and again. It started off brushing against the seams of the clouds, luring it more to make it more easy for the rain to pass through, the echo of its rhythematic hit on the walls and the ground was heard across heaven and earth. The cold rain become warm and hot as it glides through the city, pounding against the wall and on the floor of the earth again and again as if there was no other day for it to rain. As the tempo of the rain hardens and its rhythm becomes more profound and as the floor of the earth responded to the same, the steam of the rain evaporating at every corners, the walls almost about to give in, shakky at every corner, fully moist with the pre-wetness of the initial rain. It then becomes harder, again and again, the rain hitting the floor again and again, brushing hard at the walls again and again. And then it exploded with the loudest thunder the earth have ever heard and the clouds, rain ever realized thundering once.
It was followed by a ultimate silence, as if mourning at a crematory, all silent and quit, limped and powerless, the city lays there and slept off through the night.
Good One
Chris
A very subtle way of explaining the different phases one has to go through!. Hats off to you.
