"..agar aap bus, train, plane ya kahin se bhi aa jaa rahe hon...aur kisi
mahila athva larki ke hath mein phool, dhaga, chain ya chamakti hue koi bhi
vastu dekhein to turant wahan se bhag jaye.Ye vastu RAKHI ho sakti hai. Apki
zara se laaparwahi apko BHAI bana sakti hai."

hi arunima,
it reminds me of the time in 6th standard when (innocently) i actually ran when being chased... finally the teacher had to step in and rescue...

you missed the best part which comes in the end and goes like this

EK VISHESH SOOCHANA ******************************** Agar aap bus, train, plane ya kahin se bhi aa/jaa rahe hon aur kisi mahila/ladki ke hath mein phool, dhaga, chain ya chamakti hue koi bhi vastu dekhein to turant wahan se bhag jaye.Ye vastu RAKHI ho sakti hai. Apki zara se
laaparwahi apko BHAI bana sakti hai.

Will never forget Raksha Bandhan on 2001. The vice principle of our school was running away from the person who became the supervisor the next year. She was persuing him with a rakhi in her hands. Imagine two teachers doing that in the middle of the school foyer...

guess thats scaring everyone !

Personally i dont have a problem with someone tying me a rakhi unless i was really serious about her.

I wish i had a sister.... ppl may find it hard but its a real nice feeling when some girls come to me to tie the rakhee.. its such a sweet and beautiful moment... i feel that i really have a sister... but damn it!!!.. since i graduated from high school , no girl's willing to tie the rakhee!!.. i dunno wht the heck is the freakin problem with them... LOL

My sis sent that to me at 12:30 midnight.. It was very funny. She was trying to protect her bhaiya from predators LOL

I do see the humour. But being here in da Desert away from my lovely sisters.. I wont have minded if someone had come & tied a Rakhi on my wrist.Reminds me of School where we boys would be comparing on who got the most Rakhi tied to them.Tschus..

LOL!!
Was online on YM on 19th and saw most Blogger boys offline. One boy interjected - Its because its rakhi today - most boys will remain invisible! :D

Wonder if you managed to find *some* laaparwah 'bhaiyya' on Rakhi day?! :D

n.g. said...

ah. art imitating life. back in school we used to petrified on rakhi day, because if a guy liked a girl but she didnt like him back she's hunt him down on this day and tie a rakhi. and ruin his life. many hearts have been broken on this day, i assure you.
