I thought, “How could it end even without the luxury of a goodbye?” but then there is no luxury in any goodbye.
There is just one life, there are so many people-caring and beautiful
And there is me going over a loop of heartbreaks with just one you
Adieu my friend for it hurts to see you try so hard
I have no intention of having you by stealing from you that thing called compassion
I believe you loved me though I was never sure
If you did, your secret is safe with me
The world is all yours to conquer
I choose to lose, I choose to love.
Like a child building castles on the seashore just to see them washed away by the raging waves, foolish dreams I have dreamt day by day…

Funny, that I should come to your blog after a long time and find a similar post to mine.
It is indeed hard to say goodbye toa freind. But, there is always some hope that they will be with us .. sometime or the other.. they are our freinds..
"I choose to lose, I choose to love. "
Contradictory statements? When one choose to love then one is outright winner , there is no competition.
Chin Up.
beautifull...!
how can people be so hard at times....has happened with me...i call them stonehearted...

Thats right...I "seem" to be "balanced".
Hmm..i can understand
John Lenon said "You may say Im a dreamer,
but Im not the only one"...
so dream on.. its not foolish... the dreams will make the castle strong.
wonderful....
'there is no luxury in any goodbye'
very well said..
well goodbyes were never a luxury it was always a necessity..
but the joy of building the castles can never be washed away...
the following is a quote by someone- that I had noted down in my diary- I post it here for you today:
"Never say Goodbye"- G'bye is such a sad word- it seems too final, too cold, for friends to use- we seem to have so many ways of saying G'bye and they all have one thing in common- sadness. Don't ever say G'bye- Don't ever give in to the sadness and loneliness of that word. R'member instead the joy and the Happiness of those tiems when you first said "Hello" to a friend. Take that sepcial Hello and lock it away within you- in that place in your heartwhere its always summer time. When you and your friends must part, I want you to reach deep within you and bring back that first Hello...
anon...
take care

I agree with Manu!...Hope you're doing okay.
Hi,
Your posts are very touchy. I feel unless one experiences himself/herself, such posts can not be written!
Anyways, let me end with a quote
I wanted a perfect ending. Now I’ve learned, the hard way, that some poems don’t rhyme, and some stories don’t have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what’s going to happen next. Delicious ambiguity. ~ Gilda Radner
Like a child building castles on the seashore just to see them washed away by the raging waves, foolish dreams I have dreamt day by day… This was just too much. :)
Very touching to read esp when the thoughts of goodbyes these days is kinda of breaking my heart. Some good byes you cannot avoid...
"The world is all yours to conquer
I choose to lose, I choose to love." I hope it for someone too.
Your words can touch the soul - Keep them coming. And I believe theres justice in the end, so keep the faith.
