S

I have been wishing to read Sea of Poppies (Amitav Ghosh) and The Lost Flamingoes of Bombay (Siddarth Sanghvi).

A few days back, when I came home from work, the ‘Sea of Poppies’ in a hard cover was waiting for me. I flipped the pages and I saw the following written in my husband’s beautiful handwriting.

To Arunima,
For the voyages, and all the adventures,
past, present, and future
.
S. "
I smiled and then jumped and thanked him, then hugged him, then kissed him then I ran back from the kitchen again to read it and re-read it, and thanked him again and kissed him and smiled and jumped and hugged and kept on smiling.

its such a nice feeling to get a surprise gift from any one and when it comes from husband it is bonus and when it is the very thing which you wanted then it is double bonus and such a boost to one's ego that his/her half loves and cares so much and can understand unsaid things.
congrats

Hi Arunima, I had been thinking about the same that why i cant update that page anymore. I have been doing a lot and many a times thought of putting that up for the people to see what i am up to. probably the lack of time and skills ;)

Will take this seriously and will give it a shot again. :)

Bytheway i am still hooked to your posts. Keep writing.

Cheers
